Well change this review - Now its downloaded onto my iPad. And works super. Not real sharp as HD though - but more than acceptable. In fact - fun.

So far this app seems great. We cant wait to use it on our trip to Walt Disney World. We drive often and its always fun to explore new things along I95. Like the traffic part also. Lets hope it lives up to its expectations.
Much easier to use going Southbound - you have to constantly scroll to the "bottom" of each state coming North - need a Northbound version. Several places the listed businesses had changed. Didnt like getting off and only finding BP!
Cant wait to use it on our next Disney trip!
We are on I95 right now on our way to Florida. I am so glad I bought this App! It takes all the guesswork out of wondering whats at each exit and whether or not you can get back on without any problems. Very comforting in the middle of the night!
It worked and had all the resturaunts ect but It could have so much more info and a map. Still it was usefull to know what was coming up. I agree with the southbound gripe a simple setting (south or north) would do the trick. Also the navigtion was a litle confusing it kept going to another state.
I rarely rate apps. In fact, Im in the rv on 95 right now. This app is C-R-A-P! I stopped checking the exits after a lot of info was wrong (in SC and GA so far). Im sure 1-95 has a website they keep this stuff updated on...would it kill the developers to update it? Good if u just need to know where a major exit is, etc.
I travel on 95 from ny to florida. Cant wait to use it in 2 weeks..
Used this app A LOT on our trip from NY to Florida and back! It was very useful to find places for gas, food and hotels! Mostly accurate except for any new spots...
Great app! Just used it on a trip from MA to FL and back. Very informative and worked perfectly!
very good for me.Im on 95 all the time
Just indexed content from their printed guide. Nothing interactive and no detail except the names of the services at each exit. It does have the RSS feed from their review blogs for eateries and attractions, but those have no organization. There should be links at each exit to any posted reviews. Looking for clean rest rooms? No help at all.
No maps or info. No interactive links or help other than what each exit is. Worst waste of a dollar.
For the most part this is a great app and we use it often driving from CT to FL. There are some errors though so learn from our lesson & dont wait hours to stop at a restaurant just in case the info is not correct. In our case we thought the Cheesecake Factory sounded great so we waited several hours, passing many legit places to find what we were searching for was really the Cheesecake Factory FACTORY where they bake all the cheesecake. This is exit 142 in NC. There is no restaurant here. Its in the midst of an industrial park. Aside from a few issues similar to this, the app is very helpful to have for road trips.
We travel I-95 quite a bit and this app is perfect for us. It has the typical listings that other apps have, but includes all those one-of-a-kind places too. I especially like the exit-specific notes that only someone familiar with the area would know. The app also includes access to content from several of their blogs including road construction, attractions, restaurant reviews. The Google traffic maps are handy too. The app is supported by their excellent website. These guys are definitely the authority for I-95 info!
Great app, however as stated in earlier review it is non-interactive. We went to hotels that were listed. One experience over 200$ horrible and filthy. One hotel 120$ outstanding. Comfort Suites, Savannah GA, dont go.
Ive owned the printed version of this app for several years and found it very useful. This app is similar in content to the printed version. Its more akin to an ebook rather than an interactive app. I found the iExit app to be much more interactive and useful and use that exclusively now.
In a exit looking for a restaurant. Well seri is the best ...
Just came back from Boston to Florida vacation by car. Sadly, there were a number of times that I opened the app, and it froze on me. When Id try to open a state, nothing would happen. I made attempts to delete the app and add back, but it worked less than 50% of the time. Im driving to Hilton Head in April, and I hope that the app is more reliable at that time. In theory, its a good app, but not if it doesnt open.
Needs to be updated. Last update was 2010 and many restaurants, hotels have closed or changed.
